Law Enforcement Cannot Arrest Anyone Without Identifying Themselves
Law enforcement officers are not allowed to arrest anyone without identifying themselves. They must provide their identification during any operation. This was stated in a notice issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Today, Sunday, September 1, Faisal Hasan, the Senior Information Officer of the Ministry of Home Affairs, signed the notice.
The notice states that during any operation, law enforcement officers must identify themselves before making an arrest. The Home Affairs Advisor has emphasized that under no circumstances can anyone be arrested without proper identification.
