Divisional Director (Health) of Sylhet Division, Dr. Mahbubul Alam, visited Kamalganj Upazila Health Complex in Moulvibazar district on Thursday (June 18) to review the overall healthcare services and management of the facility.

During the visit, he inspected medical service delivery, patient management systems, infrastructural facilities, cleanliness, and the overall functioning of the health complex. He also exchanged views with doctors and staff members regarding the quality of services being provided to patients.
After the inspection, Dr. Alam provided necessary directives to the officials and employees concerned and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with sincerity, accountability, and professionalism to ensure quality healthcare services at the grassroots level.
He said that all healthcare workers must work in a coordinated manner to ensure that the benefits of government health programmes reach the general public. He also stressed the importance of maintaining a patient-friendly environment and further improving the standard of healthcare services.
Moulvibazar Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Mamunur Rahman said that regular monitoring and supervision activities are continuing across the district to improve healthcare services. He noted that such visits by the Divisional Director would help make field-level healthcare services more dynamic and effective.
He also called upon health department officials and employees to perform their duties with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility.
The visit was attended by the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer of Kamalganj, along with officials and staff members from different levels of the health department.
