National University Students Alliance of Bangladesh – NUSAB has officially launched its journey with the mission to ensure the rights, leadership development, and educational advancement of students under the National University of Bangladesh.

The organization’s founder and central executive committee President Md. Mosaddek Hossain Emon, widely known as Rafio in the media, education, and entertainment circles, shared his vision for NUSAB in an exclusive statement.

“There are over ten million students studying under the National University system, yet no active platform truly represents their issues,” said Rafio. “That’s why NUSAB was born – to create a united voice for these students, helping them understand and claim their rights.”

He further added that NUSAB’s primary goals include launching practical programs focused on education quality, employment opportunities, mental health awareness, entrepreneurship, and youth leadership. The alliance also plans to collaborate with university authorities to address long-standing issues such as session jams, delayed results, and academic inefficiencies.

Already, NUSAB has started building its organizational structure across divisions and districts. With the motto “Unity, Education, and Progress,” the group seeks to establish a nationwide student network rooted in solidarity and empowerment.

“We want every student not only to earn a degree but also to gain leadership, skills, and a sense of humanity,” said Rafio. “NUSAB will be their source of strength and inspiration.”

Teachers, students, and guardians have warmly welcomed this initiative, calling it a timely and necessary movement for the country’s largest student community.

Currently, NUSAB is conducting both online and on-campus membership campaigns. The organization is also preparing for its official inauguration ceremony next month, which will bring together college representatives and students from across Bangladesh.
