A Windows utility developed by an engineering undergrad has found an unexpected use across the computer laboratories of a private engineering college, helping address a recurring problem of file clutter on shared computers.

The issue had been a routine challenge in the laboratories, where the same computers are used by multiple students throughout the academic sessions. Also the computers used by stuffs faces the same problem. As the machines are common among the employees and students, there raises the problem.

CleanWrap was originally developed as a hobby Application, Ettisaf claims he wrote it because he needed it and later showcased it in his profile as his Engineering Resume. It's super fast and lightweight system automatically organizes downloaded files into categorized folders and cleans up unnecessary junk and caches from disk. Its use across the laboratories of Eastern Engineering College (EEC) has helped reduce the accumulation of assignments, installers, documents and other files left behind by students.

Interestingly, CleanWrap was never designed specifically for institutional laboratory management. Rup initially developed the utility to solve the everyday problem of keeping his own Windows on track.

“I never thought something this regular could solve a long-term problem for you, Sir” said Ettisaf, creator of CleanWrap.

"This app was so lightweight that it feels like nothing running but later my PC feels fast than usual", an employee said.

The deployment has since become an unexpected milestone for the small utility, highlighting how independently developed software can find practical applications beyond its original purpose.

Principle Moshin Ahmed Khandakar, praised Ettisaf for successfully dismissing their problem with his Application. He wished goodluck for his future ahead.
