A boat festival was held in Jessore-Abhaynagar today from 3 pm , organized by Jamaat-e-Islam . The event spread from Taltala Ghat to Naopara Ferry Ghat and was attended by thousands of people.

The boat race and cultural atmosphere created a festive atmosphere throughout the area. The spectators added to the joy of the competition by cheering, clapping, and celebrating.

Professor Golam Rasul, the nominated candidate for Jessore-4 constituency, was present as the chief guest at the festival . He highlighted the importance of preserving the tradition of boating and developing local culture. He also encouraged interaction with the participants.

Students from local schools and colleges participated in the event and gained experience about the history and tradition of boat racing. In addition, local businessmen and tourists also shared the joy of the festival during the competition.

Locals said that such events play an important role in preserving the tradition of boat rides. The event continued until the evening and the entire area was filled with a joyful atmosphere.
