Gano Adhikar Parishad Demands the Ban of Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League
The Gano Adhikar Parishad, led by Nurul Haque Nur, has called for a ban on the political activities of the Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League, labeling them as terrorist organizations.

This demand was made in a statement signed by Gano Adhikar Parishad's General Secretary, Rashed Khan, on Wednesday.

In the statement, the party outlined eight proposals to address the current situation in the country, including the ban on the Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League as terrorist organizations. The proposals are as follows:

1: Identify and arrest those responsible for attacks on peaceful student protests and shootings, and ban Awami League, Jubo League, and Chhatra League as terrorist organizations.

2: Appoint new Superintendents of Police (SPs) in all districts and new Officers-in-Charge (OCs) in all upazilas and police stations.

3: Dismiss the Home Secretary, Jahangir Alam, divisional DIGs, and other partisan officials, and bring those involved in corruption and malpractice to justice.

4: To boost police morale and ensure security and stability during the ongoing situation, deploy 10 army personnel in every police station.

5: Eradicate corruption in all levels of the police, including the passport and immigration departments, and ensure a people-friendly police force.

6: Investigate any allegations of misconduct, corruption, or irregularities against police officers within one month and take action accordingly.

7: Conduct operations to collect legal firearms and recover illegal weapons.

8: Reinstate those who were unjustly dismissed from their jobs and recruit new police officers as needed.
